CARTER SPURRIER is the shop curator and the maker behind most Buster & Fox products. Born and raised in NYC's East Village by two artist parents Carter has understood that making and investing in handmade is essential and transformative when woven into everyday life.

In 2007 Carter graduated from The Cooper Union School of Fine Art where she focused on sculpture and printmaking. Through the years Carter has taken on the roll of tinkerer and maker of everything from bread to paintings: Remaining committed to bringing innovation, uninhibited imagination and the familiarity of a caring touch into everything she makes. She currently lives in Brooklyn with her husband and their three children.
